Mgr. Kristýna Poesová, Ph.D. received her doctoral degree in a study programme Pedagogy from the Faculty of Education, Charles University in Prague. She teaches English phonetics and phonology in two distinct study programmes at the Department of the English Language and literature at the Faculty of Education in Prague. Her research interests include the effectiveness of pronunciation teaching and the investigation of Czech-accented English.
