TRAVEL

From Prague Airport to the city centre:

The fastest but also most expensive way is to take a taxi (about € 35).

By public transport, the best option is to take the bus number 59 to “Nádraží Veleslavín”, where it terminates, and then change to metro line A that goes straight to the centre of Prague – see here.

Within the city:

The best way to move around Prague is by public transport, particularly by metro and trams. There are three metro lines – A (green), B (yellow) and C (red) – and they all go through the city centre. Trams are numbered and most of them connect the centre with outer parts of the city. All means of Prague public transport are operated in regular intervals.

ACCOMMODATION

Any accommodation site located in Prague 1 is in fact within a walking distance from the venue. Although many of them are expensive five-star hotels, it is possible to find quality accommodation for a reasonable price there. As examples, here are two hotels our faculty has had good experience with:

Alternatively, Prague 2 and Prague 3 are also very convenient areas as they are situated very close to the centre (a few minutes by metro or tram) and their accommodation facilities mostly offer lower prices.
