Markéta Malá teaches courses of English grammar (morphology and syntax) and corpus linguistics. The main focus of her work is on using corpora of naturally occurring language data to explore patterning in the English language in contrast with Czech. She is currently carrying out research on phraseology and the language of children’s literature.
