Senior Lecturer and Director of the Linguistics section at the department. She has taught a wide range of synchronic linguistic disciplines in two distinct study programmes (Introduction to Linguistics, Morphology, Lexicology, Syntax, Text Linguistics, Discourse Analysis, Stylistics, Pragmatics, Sociolinguistics, Psycholinguistics) and also runs optional Linguistics courses. She has supervised a number of diploma theses on a variety of topics and lectured at several European universities. Her main research interests include the area of Text and Discourse Analysis. She has published a number of articles and studies in specialized journals and is currently completing her monograph on coherence and cohesion in English paragraphs.
