Mgr. Martin Kräussl

Mgr. Martin Kräussl teaches ELT methodology at Bachelor’s and Master’s level, namely Introduction to English Language Teaching Methodology and Selected Aspects of English Didactics II, and tutors teaching practice in Subject Oriented Practice with Reflection and Teaching Practice at Upper Secondary School with Reflection. He received his Master’s degree in English Language and Literature from the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University, and is a PhD candidate in Applied Linguistics with a Specialisation in Language Teaching Methodology at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, where his dissertation explores the development of critical thinking in the EFL classroom. His teaching and research interests include critical thinking, critical discourse analysis and the use of visual and authentic materials in English language teaching. He is a Cambridge English Speaking Examiner for B1 Preliminary, B2 First and C1 Advanced.
